As already announced in our last mailing, we are happy to share the information that the Allplex™SARS-CoV-2/Flu A/Flu B/RSV Assay, with which Seegene is expanding its test menu for the syndromic testing of SARS-CoV-2 and the major respiratory viruses, is available now.
The Allplex™SARS-CoV-2/Flu A/Flu B/ RSV Assay is a multiplex real-time PCR assay designed for primary screening. It can detect N gene, RdRP gene and S gene for SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, influenza B and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) A/B in a single tube within 2 hours after extraction. In addition the assay icludes an endogenous and an exogenous whole process control.
The assay can be applied on Seegene’s integrated All-in-One automated platform which enables syndromic high-throughput testing. Thus, it offers an optimal and economically attractive solution for the upcoming flu season.
