The BÜHLMANN GanglioCombi^® MAG ELISA is the ideal and efficient tool to support investigations of autoimmune related peripheral neuropathies. It combines, as unique multiparametric IVD ELISA, MAG and ganglioside antigens on the same profile and thus enables a targeted screening for the most prominent immune-mediated neuropathies. The kit features all enzyme label-conjugates and allows for an economic, efficient and complete work-up in two steps.

Test values may be related and interpreted as 1 of 4 titre categories: negative, positive, strongly positive or equivocal (grey zone), which matches up with the basic concept in autoimmunology where values are rarely black or white. MAG (IgM) positive results point to putative MAG neuropathy or MGUS (monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance) and may be confirmed with the gold standard anti-MAG Antibodies ELISA.
