IBD Monitoring

We are very proud that for the first time, fecal calprotectin in IBD monitoring is now part of the official ECCO guidelines. The guidelines recommendations rely also on numerous references with BÜHLMANN assays.

We summarized the importance and different applications of our BÜHLMANN Calprotectin assays in IBD patient therapy follow-up in a new IBD Monitoring Flyer. Our calprotectin assays are cited in a large number of peer-reviewed publications describing important applications such as indication of mucosal healing by correlation to endoscopy and histology, as well as prediction of remission and relapse.
