Success stories
Since 2016 the lab is running calprotectin on Siemens Advia XPT using the BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo and the CALEX® Cap.
The French private lab, CEF-Boulard, Paris uses BÜHLMANN Calprotectin assays since 2010. Initially, the lab started with BÜHLMANN Quantum Blue® Calprotectin. In 2012 the lab switched to BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA applied on DS2 microplate robot from Dynex. In 2017 the successful switch from ELISA to BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo on AU5800 was fulfilled.
Laboratorio Germano de Sousa, a large privately hold clinical laboratory in Portugal with over 1.2 Mio patient samples per year runs the BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo on an Advia 2400 chemistry analyzer and Unilabs Portugal, a private European lab chain, made a comprehensive evaluation of different Calprotectin assays on the market and found many discrepancies with assays from other suppliers.
